I got the job!
I got the following email this morning:
Dear Denise:
I'm very pleased to inform you that the Women's Studies Program will offer you a GSI position in WS 270 "Women and the Law" for fall term 06.
The official offer letter will follow shortly. Congratulations
This is very exciting for me! I know that I will enjoy teaching this course next term (and I might even be good at it) despite its significant time commitment. Also, the full tuition waiver, the paid health insurance and the stipend are nothing to sneeze at! Go me!

This is great news!!!
I'm sure you've taught classses before but maybe never as Denise. This will be great training for your courtroom style(not clothing) and will be in front of a bunch of your Peers in Law School who probably know how to ask good questions. That will test you mettle a bit and I'm sure you can reciprocate by honing your question structure to get the answers you seek as an instructor.
