Quick opinion needed

Bitter_spinsters_spectacular In recognition of National Freedom to Marry week, Outlaws is throwing a party tomorrow night.  In order to advertise the party, we are all supposed to dress up in wedding clothes.  Unlike the last time, when we all screwed up the communication, this time we are all really supposed to dress up! :)

I am torn between my dual natural inclinations to a) look as pretty as I am able and b) screw with people's minds and their stereotypes.  I have the clothing, I believe, that would be apropos of either.  I could wear a very beautiful dress that I wore as a bridesmaid, or I could wear a tuxedo that I once wore as a groom.  What do you think?

[Update]  Thanks for the opinions.  I opted for the tux.  I haven't had this many people openly stare at me since I first came out.  Weird.  But, it is effective!  I'll post a photo later, if we manage to get one.

[Update 2]  OK, so I decided to do boy drag today -- Ftm_day_kyle_and_denise2 the picture is of a classmate and me -- and girl drag tonight.  This should satisfy everyone -- including the other classmate who earlier today told me that she was rooting for the bridesmaid dress -- my mother (whom I know was rooting for the dress, despite her silence),  and me. :)

[Update 3 - Final] What a GREAT party we had!!!  A very nice turnout of people.  Collin_justin_denise We had balloons and cake and champagne.  It was so much fun, even for a Tuesday night!  As you can tell from this photo, I'm not doing as well on my diet as I wanted. ::sigh::

I think the tux. You did wear it in your wedding while exercising your freedom to marry - something that you should still be able to exercise if all were right in the world.

You can always look smashing, but you don't always get a chance to take a stand for the freedom to marry.

Would the cut and color of the bridesmaid dress perhaps permit you to wear it with the tux jacket and tie? If no, I'd say that I'm sure you're going to look pretty in either, so why not *also* get to screw with people's minds and wear the tux.

I was going to vote for the bridesmaid dress, but not really for any good reason other than it's an opportunity to get dressed up and look pretty. But that's just me.

Was it a Jewish wedding?..Your mate look like she was wearing some Jewish items that one wear to a Temple. May I say I like the soft-butch look on you.

Oh, goodness, I hadn't even realized it was National Freedom to Marry Week. I really do have to run home and get my rainbow scarf before my JAG interview...
Now I'm tempted to rent a tux for Barrister's Ball :-)
